# Racarion

*The Mesa Forest · 4k, Download, 1.16+, Java & Bedrock, Realistic Minecraft Survival World - Zhangjiajie National Forest Park*

Racarion is a customized mutlibiome world focused on an enhanced Vanilla Minecraft survival experience. Its main focus was the introduction of generated forest camps, a new pine forest biome, and the recreation of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park as a dedicated Biome in Minecraft.

A 4 km by 4 km realistic Minecraft island with custom biomes, made by McMeddon. It's a rough Island with multiple huge snow covered mountain ranges, huge taluses, strong slopes, flows and hard eroded peaks with: new swamp regions, jungle biomes, taiga/spruce, oak, and custom arctic regions. Landform adjusted river systems and temperature controlled Biomes. Find custom mineshafts and explore the swamp huts deep in the forests. Explore along the paths that connect the world or take a boat and cross the ocean with a near-seamless transition to the default Minecraft.

## Structures

4 of 15 confirmed present. A pinned marker outranks the scan; anything not confirmed is what the scan alone recorded.

## Questions about this world

### What is Racarion?

Racarion is a hand-made survival world of 4,608 × 4,608 blocks, made with WorldPainter, World Machine, Gaea, Axiom and WorldEdit, built for Minecraft Java 1.16.5. You download the world folder and play it like any other save, in singleplayer or on your own server.

### How big is Racarion?

4,608 × 4,608 blocks, so about 21 million blocks of surface. Walking from one edge to the other takes roughly 18 minutes at normal walking speed. The terrain runs from Y -64 to Y 320.

Outside that area the world keeps generating normal vanilla Minecraft chunks, so you never hit a wall, you just leave the built part behind.

### Which Minecraft version does Racarion need?

Racarion is built for Minecraft Java **1.16.5**. Newer releases normally open it fine. Opening it in an *older* release is not supported: blocks and structures added after that version cannot load, and the world can be damaged by the attempt.

Bedrock players need a converted copy. See [the Bedrock notes in the FAQ](https://mcmeddon.com/faq#install-bedrock).

### Which biomes are in Racarion?

13 in total. The land is mostly Plains (39.8%), Snowy Plains (20.6%), Forest (15.2%) and Swamp (12.3%), counted as shares of the land rather than of the whole map.

Water covers 49.0% of the map, and land 51.0%.

The [full breakdown](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20210417-racarion#biome-composition) is further up this page, with every biome and its share.

### Which structures are in Racarion?

4 of the 15 structure types the scan checks are confirmed present: surface (0/6), ocean (1/4), underground (3/3), portal structures (0/1) and settlements (0/1).

Not confirmed: Desert pyramids (not checked), Igloos (not checked), Jungle pyramids (not checked), Pillager outposts (not checked), Swamp huts (not checked) and Woodland mansions (not checked). "Searched, not found" means the scan looked and came up empty; "not checked" means it has not been looked for yet.

[The structure list](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20210417-racarion#structure-coverage) above names every one of them.

### Is Racarion ready to play in survival?

Yes. A scan of the world file confirms loot tables, structures and ores, so the survival loop runs from the first night: chests hold the game's real loot tables, mobs spawn as they do anywhere else, and you can mine, farm and build without adding anything. It plays in vanilla Minecraft, with no mods, no datapacks and no creative mode.

The scan did not see animals in this export. That means it did not find any, not that none can be found or bred here.

The [world contents report](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20210417-racarion#world-contents) at the bottom of this page holds the item-by-item detail.
