*Dungeons & Mega Oaks · Download, 4k, 1.17+, Java & Bedrock, Multibiome Minecraft Survival World*

This is Darxima With selfmade 1.17/1.18 Cave and Cliff terrain features to this world as well as dozens of Structure Updates to you. Darxima is a huge 16km² custom Minecraft Multibiome continent and the second iteration to Cekageon. It includes Spaghetti Caves, Cheese Caves, Lush Caves, Dripstone Caves, Crystal Caves, and Crystal Geodes, and plenty of exciting landscapes. This map is the fifth iteration of the integration of custom caves, leaned closer towards the original style of the upcoming 1.18 Update. The focus of this map was the integration of new Plants like the Mega Oak Tree´s and "small" Dungeons.

A 4 km by 4 km realistic Minecraft island with custom biomes, made by McMeddon. It's an Island with multiple huge mountain ranges, steep cliffs, falls, plateaus, layered terrains and hard eroded areas, landform adjusted river systems and temperature-determined biomes. Find custom Mineshaft´s and explore the custom advanced biomes. Explore along the paths that connect the world, or take a boat and cross the ocean with a near-seamless transition to the default Minecraft Vanilla generation.

## Structures

## Questions about this world

### What is Darxima?

Darxima is a hand-made survival world of 4,097 × 4,097 blocks, made with WorldPainter, World Machine, Gaea, Axiom and WorldEdit, built for Minecraft Java 1.17. You download the world folder and play it like any other save, in singleplayer or on your own server.

### How big is Darxima?

4,097 × 4,097 blocks, so about 17 million blocks of surface. Walking from one edge to the other takes roughly 16 minutes at normal walking speed. The terrain runs from Y 0 to Y 255.

Outside that area the world keeps generating normal vanilla Minecraft chunks, so you never hit a wall, you just leave the built part behind.

### Which Minecraft version does Darxima need?

Darxima is built for Minecraft Java **1.17**. Newer releases normally open it fine. Opening it in an *older* release is not supported: blocks and structures added after that version cannot load, and the world can be damaged by the attempt.

Bedrock players need a converted copy. See [the Bedrock notes in the FAQ](https://mcmeddon.com/faq#install-bedrock).

### Which biomes are in Darxima?

15 in total. The land is mostly Plains (53.8%), Snowy Plains (32.6%), Forest (7.5%) and Old Growth Pine Taiga (1.8%), counted as shares of the land rather than of the whole map.

Water covers 33.5% of the map, and land 66.5%.

The [full breakdown](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20210808-darxima#biome-composition) is further up this page, with every biome and its share.

### Which structures are in Darxima?

6 of the 19 structure types the scan checks are confirmed present: surface (0/7), underground (4/6), ocean (2/4), portal structures (0/1) and settlements (0/1).

Not confirmed: Desert pyramids (not checked), Igloos (not checked), Jungle pyramids (not checked), Pillager outposts (not checked), Swamp huts (not checked) and Trail ruins (not checked). "Searched, not found" means the scan looked and came up empty; "not checked" means it has not been looked for yet.

[The structure list](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20210808-darxima#structure-coverage) above names every one of them.

### Is Darxima ready to play in survival?

Yes. A scan of the world file confirms loot tables, structures, animals and ores, so the survival loop runs from the first night: chests hold the game's real loot tables, mobs spawn as they do anywhere else, and you can mine, farm and build without adding anything. It plays in vanilla Minecraft, with no mods, no datapacks and no creative mode.

The [world contents report](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20210808-darxima#world-contents) at the bottom of this page holds the item-by-item detail.
