# Ewarkor

*Between 1.18 Caves and Alpine Mountains - Next Gen Beginning · Download, 4k, 1.17+, Java & Bedrock, Multibiome Minecraft Survival World*

This is Ewarkor. With self-made 1.18 Cave and Cliff terrain features to this world as well as dozens of Structure Updates to you. Ewarkor is a huge 16km² custom Minecraft Multibiome continent and the next iteration to Darxima. It includes Spaghetti Caves, Cheese Caves, Lush Caves, Dripstone Caves, Crystal Caves, and Crystal Geodes, and plenty of exciting landscapes. This map is the fifth iteration of the integration of custom caves, leaned closer towards the original style of the upcoming 1.18 Update. The focus of this map was only the full shift to a new program and rebuilding the full workflow that i´ve build over the past year.

A 4 km by 4 km realistic Minecraft island with custom biomes, made by McMeddon. It's an Island with multiple huge mountain ranges, steep cliffs, falls, plateaus, layered terrains and hard eroded areas, landform adjusted river systems and temperature-determined biomes. Find custom Mineshaft´s and explore the custom advanced biomes. Explore along the paths that connect the world, or take a boat and cross the ocean with a near-seamless transition to the default Minecraft Vanilla generation.

Shares are measured across the built map. Past its edge the world keeps generating normal vanilla Minecraft chunks, so biomes missing from this list can still be found out there.

- Normal Caves: 98%
- Magma Caves: 0.9% (inferred from surrounding blocks)
- Ice Caves: 0.6% (inferred from surrounding blocks)

Inferred types have no biome of their own in Minecraft. They are named from the blocks around the cave rather than read from the save.

## Structures

6 of 19 confirmed present. A pinned marker outranks the scan; anything not confirmed is what the scan alone recorded.

## Questions about this world

### What is Ewarkor?

Ewarkor is a hand-made survival world of 5,120 × 5,120 blocks, made with WorldPainter, World Machine, Gaea, Axiom and WorldEdit, built for Minecraft Java 1.17. You download the world folder and play it like any other save, in singleplayer or on your own server.

### How big is Ewarkor?

5,120 × 5,120 blocks, so about 26 million blocks of surface. Walking from one edge to the other takes roughly 20 minutes at normal walking speed. The terrain runs from Y 0 to Y 255.

Outside that area the world keeps generating normal vanilla Minecraft chunks, so you never hit a wall, you just leave the built part behind.

### Which Minecraft version does Ewarkor need?

Ewarkor is built for Minecraft Java **1.17**. Newer releases normally open it fine. Opening it in an *older* release is not supported: blocks and structures added after that version cannot load, and the world can be damaged by the attempt.

Bedrock players need a converted copy. See [the Bedrock notes in the FAQ](https://mcmeddon.com/faq#install-bedrock).

### Which biomes are in Ewarkor?

15 in total. The land is mostly Plains (69.0%), Forest (12.0%), Snowy Plains (7.5%) and Old Growth Pine Taiga (4.6%), counted as shares of the land rather than of the whole map.

Water covers 25.4% of the map, and land 74.5%.

By volume this world's caves are Normal Caves (98.5%), Magma Caves (0.9%) and Ice Caves (0.6%). The [cave breakdown](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20210822-ewarkor#caves) has the rest.

The [full breakdown](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20210822-ewarkor#biome-composition) is further up this page, with every biome and its share.

### Which structures are in Ewarkor?

6 of the 19 structure types the scan checks are confirmed present: surface (0/7), underground (4/6), ocean (2/4), portal structures (0/1) and settlements (0/1).

Not confirmed: Desert pyramids (not checked), Igloos (not checked), Jungle pyramids (not checked), Pillager outposts (not checked), Swamp huts (not checked) and Trail ruins (not checked). "Searched, not found" means the scan looked and came up empty; "not checked" means it has not been looked for yet.

[The structure list](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20210822-ewarkor#structure-coverage) above names every one of them.

### Is Ewarkor ready to play in survival?

Yes. A scan of the world file confirms loot tables, structures, animals and ores, so the survival loop runs from the first night: chests hold the game's real loot tables, mobs spawn as they do anywhere else, and you can mine, farm and build without adding anything. It plays in vanilla Minecraft, with no mods, no datapacks and no creative mode.
