Shares are measured across the built map. Past its edge the world keeps generating normal vanilla Minecraft chunks, so biomes missing from this list can still be found out there.

- Normal Caves: 77%
- Lush Caves: 21%
- Dripstone Caves: 0.9%
- Magma Caves: 0.4% (inferred from surrounding blocks)
- Ice Caves: 0.4% (inferred from surrounding blocks)

Inferred types have no biome of their own in Minecraft. They are named from the blocks around the cave rather than read from the save.

## Structures

9 of 19 confirmed present. A pinned marker outranks the scan; anything not confirmed is what the scan alone recorded.

## Questions about this world

### What is Vexokor?

Vexokor is a hand-made survival world of 8,193 × 8,193 blocks, made with WorldPainter, World Machine, Gaea, Axiom and WorldEdit, built for Minecraft Java 1.21. You download the world folder and play it like any other save, in singleplayer or on your own server.

### How big is Vexokor?

8,193 × 8,193 blocks, so about 67 million blocks of surface. Walking from one edge to the other takes roughly 32 minutes at normal walking speed. The terrain runs from Y -64 to Y 320.

Outside that area the world keeps generating normal vanilla Minecraft chunks, so you never hit a wall, you just leave the built part behind.

### Which Minecraft version does Vexokor need?

Vexokor is built for Minecraft Java **1.21**. Newer releases normally open it fine. Opening it in an *older* release is not supported: blocks and structures added after that version cannot load, and the world can be damaged by the attempt.

Bedrock players need a converted copy. See [the Bedrock notes in the FAQ](https://mcmeddon.com/faq#install-bedrock).

### Which biomes are in Vexokor?

36 in total. The land is mostly Plains (34.6%), Stony Peaks (11.1%), Beach (9.2%) and Badlands (8.5%), counted as shares of the land rather than of the whole map.

Water covers 32.4% of the map, and land 67.1%.

By volume this world's caves are Normal Caves (76.9%), Lush Caves (21.2%) and Dripstone Caves (0.9%). The [cave breakdown](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20240930-vexokor#caves) has the rest.

The [full breakdown](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20240930-vexokor#biome-composition) is further up this page, with every biome and its share.

### Which structures are in Vexokor?

9 of the 19 structure types the scan checks are confirmed present: surface (1/7), underground (6/6), ocean (1/4), portal structures (1/1) and settlements (0/1).

Not confirmed: Desert pyramids (not checked), Igloos (not checked), Jungle pyramids (not checked), Pillager outposts (not checked), Swamp huts (not checked) and Woodland mansions (not checked). "Searched, not found" means the scan looked and came up empty; "not checked" means it has not been looked for yet.

[The structure list](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20240930-vexokor#structure-coverage) above names every one of them.

### Is Vexokor ready to play in survival?

Yes. A scan of the world file confirms loot tables, structures, animals and ores, so the survival loop runs from the first night: chests hold the game's real loot tables, mobs spawn as they do anywhere else, and you can mine, farm and build without adding anything. It plays in vanilla Minecraft, with no mods, no datapacks and no creative mode.

### What is new in Vexokor?

Every world is built on the one before it, and Vexokor brought 9 logged changes into the line: new terrain, new assets and fixes to the generators that made it.

From its list:

- improved coastal stone placement
- updated terrain textures
- added ice caves

The [full list](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20240930-vexokor#world-changelog) is on this page. These are the world's own additions, not patches released after it, so an older download is not missing them.

### Can I look at Vexokor before downloading it?

Yes. [Open it in the 3D explorer](https://mcmeddon.com/worlds/20240930-vexokor/explore) and fly the real terrain in your browser, with the biomes, the caves and the marked structures. Nothing to install.
